Trail Report Saturday 2/11/2012
The trails are Open with very thin and poor coverage!!!!
Please use CAUTION!!

The section of Bacon Trail between Rte. 202 and Cook Road has active logging
in progress until further notice.  Use caution since the trail passes thru the
staging area and a short section of trail has a skidder path that crosses.  We
will do our best to keep the trail clear of debris while logging is in progress
.

Unfortunately today we were missed by another storm. We have not closed the
trails yet but may need to soon due to little to no snow.  You will surely find
many water run off streams, bare and icy spots, plus really not enough to snow
cover objects like stumps, roots, rocks, streams, etc. in the trails, especially the
wooded areas.  The combination of rain and warm temps have opened up
some of the wider streams in areas like the Power line trails so be very alert!!
There is little to no snow on the trails.

Although our trail does not cross Little Sebago we feel it important you all
need to know that it still has open water and very
THIN ICE away from shore.
Please do not risk a crossing!! There are tracks were someone has crossed but
it's not worth loosing your life!!
Please use your head!! Ride Safe!! Ride Smart!!

*****There is NOT enough snow to begin grooming operations yet!!!!!!!!!*****

We have something new this year, give our Trail Condition Snow phone a
call at 207-370-9516
.  We will do our best to keep it updated often.  Feel free
to leave a message with what you think, please don't be nasty or crude!!  If you
see a hazard out there it would be great to use it to let us know.

REMEMBER NEVER TO PASS A GROOMER UNTIL THE OPERATOR PULLS TO THE
SIDE AND/OR COMES TO A STOP SO YOU CAN SAFELY PASS
The Groomers may be out anytime, day or night so be alert!!!
